Basic Doctrinal Statement

I believe that there is one God, equally existing in three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each equally deserving of worship and obedience.

I believe that salvation is wholly of God by grace through faith in the redemption of Jesus Christ and the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works.

I believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God.

I believe that the Bible is the only source of living truth, and that it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and instruction in righteousness, making the people of God mature, and equipped to do every good work.

I believe that salvation is evidenced by good works and fruit. This fruitfulness will be experienced to the extent that the believer submits to the control of the Holy Spirit in his life through faithful obedience to the Word of God. This obedience causes the believer to be increasingly conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

I believe that the Church is made up of all those who put their faith solely in Jesus Christ for salvation.

I believe that the head of the Church is Christ, and that He is its supreme authority.

I believe that the Church’s purpose is to glorify God by building itself up in the faith, by faithfully instructing in the Word, by fellowship, and by preaching the Gospel to the entire world.

These core Christian tenets are what I will adhere to and proclaim in concert.
