"Teach Me To Love Like That" -- In the Greek, as in this song, Love has many meanings. Each verse of this song has a different lesson, a different aspect of what Jesus was, and what we as Christians are commanded to be and do. In the first verse, we see the acceptance, understanding, and compassion for fallen humanity that Jesus gave the woman caught in the act. Then the second verse shows the kindness, patience, and servanthood that Jesus gave Judas from the beginning, knowing that Judas would betray him. Finally, the song tells of the utter forgiveness, transcendent goodness, and persistent love our Lord displayed while wrongfully on trial, being scoffed and laughed at, and finally crucified.
