"The Tomb Is Empty" For the time leading up to February of 1999, my family scrimped and saved to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. While most on our trip took cameras, my Dad took pen and paper. At each site, he captured the moments and feelings with words. Our visit to the Garden Tomb brought about a song that speaks of a tomb devoid of death and full of hope. The tomb is not simply about eternal life in heaven, but also about victorious life while here on earth. A sarcophagus out of work and a Savior risen from death is the crux of our faith, the essence of our hope, the means to a victorious life, and the assurance of our own resurrection after we die.
